Pulling the Plug is a conceptual piece that emerged from my experimentation in the darkroom, where I initially crafted a photogram in black and white. Subsequently, I undertook a digital editing process to infuse the image with a vibrant green hue, enhancing its visual impact. To maintain a cohesive aesthetic and ensure that the text harmonizes with the graphic elements rather than detracting from them, I opted for a sans-serif typeface.

The piece employs dark and provocative imagery to engage viewers and provoke thoughtful reflection. The noose formed by the electrical cord serves as a powerful metaphor, illustrating the insidious nature of technological advancement and how it can lead to self-destructive behavior. In this way, Pulling the Plug invites contemplation on the paradox of progress and its potential consequences for our well-being.
